Throughout its history GMA has been a regular awardee of citations by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration ( POEA ) for being a conscientous manning agent with a strong emphasis for crew care keeping and timely allotment remittances.

The president Carlos Anacta believes in a hands-on approach and deals with each and every seaman personally. 

Strengths and weaknesses are identified and the relevant seaman is being trained accordingly for further advancement at reputable training centers.
